Local Mesquite police detective charged in sex abuse of St. George teen September 19, 2018 Utah Channel 3 Gary Erickson of Nevada was arrested Sept. 12 and charged with sexual offenses involving an underage Utah boy he met on Grindr. He was fired Sept. 19.
