The Experience Convention 2026: From Fire Panel Alert to Full Property Recovery

From detection to recovery, Utah Channel 3 follows fire protection full circle at The Experience Convention & Trade Show.
In our ISC West coverage, we spotlighted Honeywell’s ES-50XP and Vista panels—the smart sentinels that detect smoke, alert responders, and help activate suppression systems that save lives and property. But what comes after the flames are out?
Successful suppression often leaves behind hundreds of gallons of contaminated “black water” that can wick into walls, floors, and inventory within minutes. That is the chapter most people never see—and the one that decides whether a building comes back clean or becomes a mold and secondary-damage problem.
The Experience Convention & Trade Show runs September 9–11, 2026, at Paris Las Vegas. It brings together cleaning, restoration, inspection, indoor air quality (IAQ), and HVAC professionals for hands-on demos, classroom education, and an exhibit floor built around real job-site work. IICRC participation and continuing-education credits are part of the program, including water-damage and structural-drying training that contractors use in the field.
Utah Channel 3 will cover the critical next phase after a fire or water event:
- Professional water extraction and Category 2/3 contaminated-water handling
- Structural drying, moisture mapping, and dehumidification
- Odor neutralization after smoke and fire
- IICRC-aligned restoration practices that help prevent mold and secondary damage
- The equipment and monitoring tech restorers use to document dry-down and close jobs correctly
This is the missing chapter in the fire-protection story we started at ISC West: from panel alert to full property recovery.
For Southern Utah property owners, HOAs, hospitality operators, and contractors, that full circle matters. A panel that calls the fire department is only the first system. The second system is how fast water is pulled out, how thoroughly materials are dried, and whether the building is restored to a safe, livable condition—especially in mixed-use and high-altitude properties where moisture and indoor air quality are harder to manage.
We’ll be on the show floor for live extraction and drying demos, education sessions, and the tools restorers actually take back to the job. Stay tuned for our on-site reports connecting detection technology to the recovery work that follows.
