Your Utah Channel 3 team—Scott Kraft and Richard Berk—is gearing up for the 2026 SEMA Show, running November 3–6, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year, we have followed one idea from show to show: technology that detects a problem early, records what happened, and helps people recover fast. At ISC West we spotlighted Honeywell’s ES-50XP addressable fire alarm panel. At CHAMPS we looked at the point-of-sale, age-verification, and inventory systems that keep specialty retailers compliant. At The Experience Convention we followed the story past the alarm, into water extraction and IICRC-aligned restoration.
The next chapter is on wheels. At SEMA, we’re tracking the same detect-record-recover approach in vehicle safety and fleet technology.
BlackVue (North Hall, Booth #10429) has entered its new ELITE 10 Cabin dash cam in the SEMA New Products Showcase and says it will run live demonstrations of FLEETA, its fleet management service, covering real-time GPS tracking, automated event uploads, and driver-safety monitoring. Wolfbox (North Hall, Booth #10339) says it will show its new K9 Pro three-channel dash cam with front, cabin, and rear cameras. Holley Performance Brands (Central Hall, Booth #22463) will spotlight the newly launched Edge Insight CTS4 in-cab vehicle monitor on a Waldoch-built 2025 Ford F-150.
The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion (North Hall, Booth #10170) groups six suppliers under “AI Vision and Vehicle Safety,” with products including commercial-vehicle video analytics, radar-based blind-spot detection and rear cross-traffic alert, and tire pressure monitoring. And in Upper South Hall, the expanded SEMA ADAS Showcase (Booth #31200) focuses on keeping driver-assistance systems working correctly after a vehicle is modified, including “ADAS and Vehicle Modification: An Open Industry Discussion” on November 3 at 3 p.m.
We’re concentrating on the technology side of the show:
- Dash cams and event recording: front, cabin, and rear coverage for shuttles, delivery vans, and property-management trucks
- Fleet telematics: GPS tracking, event uploads, and driver-safety monitoring that help managers respond fast
- ADAS calibration: keeping driver-assistance systems accurate after lift kits, bumpers, and winter accessories are installed
- Tire pressure monitoring: early warning on cold mornings, when pressures drop
- In-cab monitoring: gauges and alerts that flag a problem before it strands a work truck on the mountain
The HOAs, lodging operators, and contractors who read our fire-protection coverage also run vehicles—plow trucks, shuttles, maintenance pickups, and guest vans that climb to Brian Head every winter day. The same questions apply: Will the system alert you early? Will it record what happened? Will it help you get back to work quickly? For a mountain community where a single stranded vehicle can block a road, those answers matter to everyone.
We’ll be on the show floor for live demos, calibration walk-throughs, and conversations with the companies building this technology. Stay tuned for our on-site reports as we connect building safety to fleet safety on the SEMA Show floor.
