Woman dies in plane crash near Kingman
ST. GEORGE — An airplane crash in Arizona Sunday morning has left one woman dead and another person seriously injured.

The crash occurred just before noon approximately 100 yards from the Mohave County Parks Ranger Station near Kingman, according to a press release issued by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
The small plane was occupied by a man and a woman. The woman died at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The man was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center in serious condition.
The identity of the woman has yet to be released pending notification of her family.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and will be conducting a follow-up investigation.
Mohave County Search and Rescue, American Medical Response, Mohave County Parks and Pine Lake Fire Department responded to the crash.
